Piggy Buns
To celebrate the year of the Pig, we got ourselves two piggy buns with gooey chocolate filling resting on a dirt-like cookie crumbles. They were so cute, we did not want to eat them!

A Noodle and Bun Lunch
Went back to Din Tai Fung, Chatswood this time, as a super hungry customer (as you can see my order). I had my favourite Kung Pao chicken noodle again and this time with pork bun and a refreshing watermelon juice. What a filling lunch it was!

Crunchy Squid Rings
Sometimes I crave something slightly salty and this lunch ticks the box. The squid rings are crunchy and perfect with the plain steam rice. It comes with some green beans, boiled egg and pickles which make it a good combo.

Kung Pao Chicken Noodle
I couldn’t always get this at every Din Tai Fung but glad they have it here in North Sydney. My portion looked so few or maybe I was just so hungry, I devoured it in a few minutes. Goodbye yummy noodles but my tummy is happy to have you!

Chinese Food for Dinner
After trying the Greek restaurant, we wanted something Asian the following night so we headed to the Dragon Cove Chinese resto at the Marine Village which just really a few walks from our hotel. Food was also great! We had fried noddles and crispy chicken for our main and we had these (in photo) filling and delicious appetizers: spring rolls, pork dumplings and the best wonton soup I ever had!

Pan-fried Gyoza
A favorite at any Chinese or Japanese restaurant, pan-fried gyoza. They're filled with pork and perfect accompaniment of sushi. But if you're planning to indulge on more sushi, rather skip Gyoza as they can be heavy.

Taro Buns
Taro Icecream
This has to be my favorite icecream. It's not too sweet and I just love taro flavour. This one has sweet dark beans on top which blended well with the flavour.

Crumbed Fillet Chicken
The crispy crumbed fillet chicken that normally comes with the noodle soup. It's one of those dishes that can make you addicted. It has a great garlicky taste, perfect with a warm soup!

Noodle Soup
We initially got into noodle soup because of my son's fondness to it but we got addicted to it too. This simple noodle soup is from our fave taiwanese resto which normally comes with crumbed fillet chicken or pork.

Water Spinach
A must order for me at our favorite Taiwanese restaurant, water spinach with roasted garlic on top. It's tasty and nutritious! It's perfect as a side to a spicy chicken.

Spicy Laksa
Not my favorite but hubby really likes laksa. Just tried it here in Sydney. It's spicy and can taste coconut milk in it. Definitely one heavy meal. Great dish for cold days.

Crispy Duck
I miss crispy duck! I'm literally drooling over this photo. I've been disappointed with my recent duck orders, they were not so crispy! I definitely wanna go back to china town.
